Today was our last full day on the cruise ship, and we spent the day at sea on the way to Barcelona, Spain. After lunch we went to the third of three art auctions on the ship. During the first cruise, Karen was the high bidder on two relatively inexpensive works of art, and she won a third free piece of art. This afternoon my number was drawn for a $100 woman’s watch and matching necklace and earrings, which I was pleased to hand over to Karen. This came close to matching the gold and pearl necklace that Karen’s mother won a few evenings ago. Not bad for our family!
